Le Marais Paris Map and Meeting Points

Le Marais has no entrance, so the place your tour meets is the one address that matters. Four operators meet at the same metro station at four different spots, and a guide waiting at one will not see you at another. Here is where the Le Marais tours start, where they finish, and the metro for each.

Four operators, one metro station

Saint-Paul metro, on line 1, comes up on the Rue Saint-Antoine. That is where most walks meet. The station has more than one exit, and each operator stands at a different spot, so read the address in your confirmation, not the pin on a map.

The Eating Europe walk meets further east, at 10 Rue Saint-Antoine, by the benches towards the Bastille. The guide carries a purple bag.

Arrive ten minutes before your start. The Secret Food Tours guide holds up an orange umbrella, and the Babylon guide waits at the exit on the far side from the stairs. Babylon also asks for your mobile number with the country code when you book, so a guide can call you if you cannot find each other. From any of these spots, the Place des Vosges is a few minutes' walk north-east, and the Rue des Rosiers a few minutes north.

The Ile Saint-Louis start

Both Do Eat Better full-meal walks meet on the Place Louis Aragon, at the western tip of the Ile Saint-Louis on the Quai de Bourbon. Pont Marie, on line 7, is the nearest metro. The walk starts with tastings on the island, then crosses the river into the Marais on foot.

Find it by the written address. A traveler on a full-meal walk in July 2026 arrived late because the booking app's pin did not match the Place Louis Aragon. Allow ten minutes to walk to the tip of the island.

The Haut-Marais starts

These walks start inside the quarter, away from Saint-Paul:

• 40 Rue de Bretagne: the Original Food Tours walk, beside the Marché des Enfants Rouges. Filles du Calvaire is the nearest metro.
• The Rue des Rosiers: the NO DIET CLUB walk, outside the Yann Couvreur patisserie on the street itself.
• The Place des Vosges: the four-hour Jewish history walk, at the statue of Louis XIII in the middle of the garden.

Starts outside the quarter

Some walks start on the edges, or well outside the Marais:

• The Place de la République: the walk with small tastings, in front of a burger restaurant on the square.
• 123 Rue Saint-Martin: the Intrepid walk, opposite the Centre Pompidou. The Pompidou is closed until 2030, and the walk does not go in.
• Saint-Sulpice: the walk from Saint-Germain, at the church stairs on the Left Bank.
• The Fontaine Saint-Michel: the Blue Bike ride. Arrive fifteen minutes early.
• 24 Rue Edgar Faure, in the 15th: the Fat Tire bike office, near Dupleix metro.
• 21 Rue des Petits Carreaux: the express option of one Secret Food Tours listing, which stays near the Louvre and never enters the Marais.

Where the tours finish

A walk rarely ends where it began. Plan what comes next from the finish, not the start:

Finishing on the Place des Vosges puts you at the Maison de Victor Hugo's door, and its permanent collections are free. The Musée Picasso finish puts you at a museum, if you have a ticket. A finish on the Rue de Rivoli or the Rue du Pont Louis-Philippe leaves you by the river, a short walk from the Hôtel de Ville and the Ile Saint-Louis. The Bastille finish puts three metro lines at your feet.

Metro stations

Every start in the quarter is a short walk from a metro exit, and none promises parking. One listing gives 125 Rue Saint-Antoine as an address for drivers.
